Well done to everyone for their magnificent performance. Winning the section was fantastic but winning Band of the day topped everything. Congratulations!!
Thanks folks for a well attended AGM. It has been said already, but again, thanks for all the hard work and commitment during the past band-year.
Cheers.

just found the website, fantastic. have just returned to the town to retire and am looking forward to hearing the band in the coming year. Brian devine ex St eugenes horn player
Its been many years and only now stumbled across the website. Its excellent and great to see the band going from strength to strength. Not sure abou the latest conductor, lol. And great to see much of the trombone section still remains. I have books full of pictures and press cuttings from the 80s and 90s which I’ll send through if I get the chance. Well done on the recent competition too. Paul.
Hi Folks,
On behalf of the Committee, and myself, thanks for all the hard work during the year. Enjoy the break and have a very happy Christmas. There will be a Committee meeting in early January 2010; so if you have any thing you need put on the agenda, please let me know.
Again, have a nice one.

Good evening,
After reading the article in the Strabane Weekly I just wished to extend my
congratulations on your NIBA success as a fellow Strabane (district) bandsman.
For many years I worked with Columba Diver(now retired from St.Josephs)and
have followed your fortunes with interest since you began entering the NIBA
contests. As someone whose band has been involved in the NIBA for 25 plus years
I am well aware of the time and effort(and no small amount of talent)
involved.
Many congratulations and best wishes for the Brass Band League,on home turf
in April I see.
Next stop grade 1,Concert Brass beware lol.
As bandmaster of Poyntzpass Silver Band I, on behalf of the band would congratulate you, firstly on reaching your 60th birthday, and also on your recent success in Armagh.Well done.
I have very much enjoyed viewing your excellent website. It is certainly many years since I played in St Joseph’s Brass Band approximately 40. I used to live at number 10 St Colmans Drive and played cornet. Nice to see the band flourishing. I do a lot of arranging/composing for Brass and Symphonic Windbands as well as conducting various bands and ensembles. I actually found your website on the Website of the C.J. Kickham Brass & Reed Band from Tipperary where I have built up a friendship with their band through Joe Moloney. Kind regards to all.
Hi Seán. Band practice is back on this Wednesday night as usual. I’m not quite sure how next weekend is working yet, as this weekend there were sectionals.
As soon as I find out anything about the weekend I’ll facebook you.
Hi Noel, all comments left have to be moderated before they appear on the site so as you were the first to post you never saw any until I accepted them.
